Hi and thanks for a great product.
I'm using Beta 4 and for me the exclude commands are not working at the moment.
Normally on the cache contents you can Exclude by path and Exclude by extension.
BUT
I thought I'd take the opportunity to make a few suggestions..
Every time I install eBoostr I spend a while making sure that certain file-types are not cached such as:
AVI, MPG, MP3, RAR, ZIP etc (these could be considered COMMON exclusions by most people I think.
Secondly I noticed that files that are frequently updated such as Search data, logs etc are very frequently invalidated and therefore unlikely to provide a succesful hit from the cache anyway. These files could automatically be added to a "frequently-changed exclusions list".
In addition to this, files that have a very low rate of hit (for whatever reason, frequently modified or other) could be automatically added to the exclude list also.
I find that using 1GB or so of memory is okay, but if it's full of files that need to be manually removed (with knowledge of their purpose) then most people are not getting the most out of their cache memory.
Still, apart from a lack of lite compression, eboostr is way way way better than readyboost (which they should have called readyboast).
