I would like to share some thoughts on the use of beta 4.
On all computers that I installed Eboostr they were quicker and more stable!
From the forum I learned that the Eboostr is designed to work alone (plug & play) and I don´t use so. I force Eboostr to catch only some work applications.
Although I work with several computers my desktop have the heavy use: an7, 3GB, hd500GB, vid128MB. Usually around 20 programs for editing text and images, database and www. My desktop is old, but I optimize for speed and reliable, ramdisk for temporary files and Eboostr in RAM optimized only for the programs I use most.

Suggestion: a) include a column with the frequency of requests, b) create a second report with files and applications to include in the cache or to remove from the exclusion list.
- Speed check application
Suggestion: in the list whit all requested files, some time high weight files are not included, was nice a tip whit a procedure to include these files (i understand that is the filestat function, but was nice a manual resource).
- Statistcs (filestat.dat)
Suggestion: create the possibility to define when the statistics are collected, as well the possibility to easy clean the file statistics. When I make the monthly maintenance of the system: a) I delete the filestat.dat b) open and close only my favorites programs to force the Eboostr collect only the most important information and c) I rebuild the cache device.
- Applications priority
Question: In the file application.ini what is the meaning of the number 1000, it´s possible change to prioritize the applications?
- Multiple cache devices
Suggestion: a) specify in which device some program or application will be allocated to produce a faster response.
- Check speed (help menu)
Suggestion: separate the result by the device and create a color code in the devices, like: green fast, orange good and red “is disturbing”.
- Eboostr in System Memory
Comment: it´s great! Better than the others cache programs!
- Others
On my desktop I have 2 xp installed, in the xp without antivirus the Eboostr is much faster.
