eBoostr uses physical drives rather than volumes. The system drive is used for RAM caching. So if yoг have many volumes but only two hard drives you will have only one choise for RAM and one for other cache. In your case with 3 hard drives - the first one is used for RAM cache, so for other cache only two of them are available.
I have 3 physical drives divided into 6 volumes. I added a 4 gb volume in the beginning of my 3rd harddrive (fastest it part) without assigning a letter to it. Previous versions allowed me to select this volume for caching (while most other applications don't see it because no letter assigned)
Three questions
Do you try to use it as normal cache or RAM cache?
Did you formatted this partirion after creation?
If you assign letter to this partition can it be accesed by exprorer and eBoostr?
I use it as a normal cache.
Yes, I formatted it.
with leter it accesible by explorer, and by Eboostr.
Moreover: I have following configuration:
Drive 1: C, E
Drive 2: D, А
Drive 3: _No Letter_, G
Everything was working fine with previous version and first beta build, but build 535 shown me only
Advanced Memory cache (It blocks as far as I understand C:), D: and G:.
So it sees only 1 volume from each disk (Except C, blocked by memory cache).
A suspect the reason can be because All partitions are primary.
This may sound sorta dum, but why would you want to setup another cache on different partitions? I mean, I can see different drives them selfs, but different partitions would slow your acc down wouldnt it; cause the read ram has to thrash everywhere to get to the data?
Also (while most other applications don't see it because no letter assigned) <- This why, eboostr now looks for physical drives rather than volumes. With that drive that has no letter assigned, eboostr simply ignores it now I bet and only uses the frist letter it can read from the drives (aka C,D,G). So just need a way to read volumes but still counts it as a singal drive?
