   I'm running the latest beta on 32-bit WinXP Pro/Sp3 with 4 GB RAM. eBoostr is setup to use the 4th GB. Everything works great, except for the following slow explorer response issues:

   1. My System32 and Drivers folders are slow to open and/or sort because I have them set to display extra info (detailed view with usual columns + company and description). I want to see those columns because some software leave drivers and tricky system files behind despite uninstall. Could eboostr be used to speed up display of this type of info? (what processes should I prioritize?)

   2. Slow context menu response on initial right-click when mouse/menus/explorer have been inactive for a while. This happens on all my computers. Is there anything I can prioritize to put eboostr on the case?

   Hi,
   About eboostr configuration I can´t help you, but if you have no problems with antivirus or other “magic soft”:
   a)How is the fragmentation of your disk? Have you tried to defragment the MFT and directories?
   b)I solved some speed problems in the file management using XYplorer and Salamander.

   Yes and yes, like Art has said, first do a d-frag to help the disk finde things a bit faster.
   for eboostr put the following program(s) into Application priority-under options-in the eBoostr control panel:
   Windows Explorer
   Internet Explorer

   Number two, not sure sure, or don't know what you mean. If you mean for the eboostr program it's being slow after none use, try doing the above following by adding the eboostr program into the list, too.
