I run WinXP Pro SP3 x32 and Win7 Ultimate x64 Retail. I used to have eBoostr 3 on both(don't remember build version). Then i put eboostr 4 beta 538 on win 7, and set a 512 mb ram cache on it. Then i went into xp and set a 512 ram cache on it too.both O.S.es use only their cache file (only 512 consumed on one O.S.). But in Win7, the control panel shows two ram caches (side by side), one active and one inactive. one's random read speed is shown as - and the other as n/a.
This is probably due to the ram cache on the other O.S. Now, it would be great if the eboostrs on both the operating systems could use a single cache instead of two separate caches. The same cache could be used by each eboostr...
i'm going to try build 539 on each now. sorry if this issue has already been addressed. Thanks.
