This is a neat option.
Say I have a laptop
I'm looking for a SSD to install.
There small and expensive.
So I want to keep my old SATA HD that's 100GB.
So I buy a compactflash 48GB for about 150.
I put my windows files and documents on this drive (I split the partitions and map the folders to the appropriate partitions).
Then have my program files on the old sata.
Now there should be a way to setup eboostr to cache my Program Files (the sata) drive to the expresscard ssd even tho I have system files on the SSD.
What I'm thinking (I haven't tried it yet, but I'm thinking it's not going to let me) is Eboostr isn't going to differentiate what files are on what drive, and secondly I don't think it's going to let me cache to the ssd if I have system files on it.
Another third option was to abandon caching the program files to the ssd, and just go with a flash drive, and cache the program files to the flash drive.
This last option I think is more realistic. As the program doesn't differentiate what drives I can eboost, it probably determines which drives are choking and which need help.
Again I haven't tried, I am going to soon. Probably by this weekend when I get the SSD.
