   I have no idea how or why but eBoostr 4.0.538 speed ratio has just this day, doubled in speed.

   After months of getting speed ratio figures around 1.25, today it rose to 1.6 (average of 6 runs).

   Both direct speed and cache speeds have approximately doubled!

   eboostrMeasure.exe on Paintshop Pro now 1.27 (was 1.16). Stopwatch on Paintshop Pro - 6secs to load (was 18secs).

   I don't dare reboot yet but meantime, I'll have what she's having thankyou ;-}>

   I haven't done any tests but 543 "feels" like the quickest yet! Could be the native 64 bit on Win 7 64 doing the trick.

   No Neither of these - I am running 32bit XP

   Today, the random speed ratio is better still - Got 2 ridiculous readings of 3.5 & 10.13 then more believably, the next 5 averaged 1.75.

   Maybe ... verify if you removed or suspended the antivirus or similar software?
