   1. before installation of eBoostr4
   -- first opening of a program is slow
   -- the second time of oprning a same program become fast due to system cache.
   2. after installation of eBoostr4, add the program in the cache list (I use system ram (1G) for cache)
   -- same as above (1.)

   I was asking myself, why I install eBoostr4?
   I expected eBoostr4 can preload programs into the cache that I want to, but seems it was not.
   the first time opening was still slow and it read program from HD not in the cache?!

   I did some testing you can find results here http://beta.eboostr.com/forum/topic/eboostr-and-superfetch. eboostr has to have most of the program cached before you see the full performance increase. Open eBoostr Statistics Viewer from All Programs-> eboostr-> eBoostr Statistics Viewer and check that the program you are testing with is at least 90% cached. You can right click on the .exe file and increase priority. And double click the .exe to see what files are associated with that program and if they are cached or not. The more you use that program the more eboostr will cache it.

   Why?
   Maybe the answer is not only “time to open”. Chooky evaluation is amazing and give consistence to my (our) empirical observations. Yes, after a short initial time to wake up, eBoostr stabilize and speed up the entire system. To me, the most important is the combination speed-stability. I tested a lot of cache programs and Eboostr works fine!

   Some time ago a read another study concerning your question, if Win has a memory cache (I refer to the system cache, not about readyboost or superfetch) why use another cache program. The conclusion was: in XP over 2 GB RAM the eboostr speed up advantage decrease because the windows cache work better. But, I don´t agree with this conclusion, because with eBoostr is possible reduce the disk hits. If in ssd age the access time is not matter the access life is it!

   I fully agree with you. With eBoostr Win has better startup, less disk hits and better performance than superfetch.
   In fact I love this application. Maybe my expectation is too high, however it really stabilize and speed up the entire system. I am going to try it with your suggestions.
