I,ve been experimenting to attempt to get the speed tests up to version 3 standard and have improved it slightly by reducing the flash-cache size from 4GB to 2GB and currently to 1GB. So far, average speed ratio is 1.1 (10% quicker) with v4.00 while the average with version 3.00 was 1.25 (25% quicker).
My PC is set up to have all the operating system (including installed programs) on the C: disk and everthing else (including "My Documents") on other disks.
My exclude list includes all the disks except the C disk and recently I have been excluding rarely used installed program folders on the C disk. It is too early to report any improvements.
But excluding folders can only be done one at a time and after a dozen or so, my fingers are getting tired.
Is there anyway the program can be enhanced to allow excluding of multiple folders (perhaps by holding down the control key)?
Such a facility would be wonderful.
