Okay, so I have my plain old 250GB external HDD plugged in to my laptop to use with eBoostr.
If I leave the computer for a while, eventually my external will spin down.
The consequence is that when eBoostr tries to load something from it, it will wait for it to spin-up and load the file from there. Loading calc.exe (which I saw was cached on the external) took 20 seconds for it to appear (GAH!). It seems there is no easy way to keep the external spun up without constantly accessing it, so I recomment there be a checkmark in eBoostr to keep a specific cache device spun up.
Also, shouldn't eBoostr be using the internal drive in parallel? That should mean calc would load from my internal while it waits for my external to start up?
