HAs anyone noticed the windows utility hidfind.exe consumming all the system resources while running the beta. Having that issue right now since installing last week. I rebuilt the cache first to see if that was related. Haven't killed it yet or restarted eboostr.

Beta Veteranhidfind.exe is part of your Alps mouse or touchpad driver. You could try getting the latest driver and installing that. Try http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/ to update your drivers.

MemberThanks - I checked & my drivers are up to date. I rebooted the first time. When it came back the next day, I just killed it in task manager & added hidfind.exe to my exclude list...not sure if that will do anything. Killing it didn't affect anything, so I'm not quite sure what it was doing. I monitor things fairly regularly, so I know this did not happen before I installed the beta. I will keep monitoring to see if I can find a pattern or something.

Memberhidfind.exe is not a eboostr program or sub program. Either it's what chooky has said, or it could be a virus/spyware. Please make sure that you check it out. Also, you can type msconfig in the run command or search box under windows 7 and vista to disable this program from start up.
