Not having much luck with NT are you? Um, really I have no clue unless its the rebuilding proccess thats starting a crash/bug in your system... Can you check your error log and report what it says?
Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event View->Apllications & System. Report anything thats related to eboostr, and report anything with in the time frame of use that have a triangle with a "!" inside and the read "x" ones.
Eboostr team, I would check this out if the data he returns out to be a real bug. This is rare it seems (no other NT users have reported anything on restarts) or it could be a system related one, but a really bad problem if others with hes system type trys to use eboostr. Seems NT is having the most said x problems.

Every hour he says that the system hangs or restarts with eboostr v4 running in the background. When eboostr isn't running, he says its runs fine. He also had a pass problem with uninstalling with the cache not being able to delete. He is running NT, and from what I have seen on the board, NT has been having all sorts of problems when it comes to using eboostr. Why I ask him to upload the error reports so you all can check it out, doesn't seem he posted one yet.

I'm not sure if this is the issue or not, it was a guess, it could be this other one too. Hope fixing these issues will help to lower or pin point to the problem at hand.

From what I have seen, I think this one was the biggest problem and could cause the restarting issues.
PErflib property
IBM says to do this... but no big issue other then it reports in the event viewer, so if you don't get this one fixs its ok.

Service Control Manager
Reporting a BitDefender issue, can't fine BDFsDrv.sys.
One way to fix it is redownloading the program and then when it ask you if you want to uninstall, install, or repair. Click on the repair. <(Try this frist befor the others.) Another would be to full uninstall it and reinstall it. Last is to find the file on the net and place it into your BitDefender folder. Again, this isn't causeing that big of a issue, so if you can't get this one to stop reporting, thats ok.
If nothing else its on eboostr side and I have no control/fixs for you sadly. You said the restarting doesn't happen when eboostr off but it does when eboostr on.
i already done all your advice, in the event log there is no perflib error again just BDFsDrv.sys issue still there.
after i change perflib, my eboostr now can cache file until 100% before that it's only 77%.
but as you said so sadly and unlucky NT, my computer still unstable when i run ebooostr, still can hang anytime. otherwise i do not run eboostr my computer run normal.

finally my windows2000 can run eboostr beta 4 stable after i remove my antivirus software, now my computer run normally without hang and restart
Great news hardi! Can I ask why you are running Windows 2000 and not a more recent OS?

i just want to try run eboostr beta 4 on two OS, one on my xp computer another one on my Windows2000 computer. to check if there is something issue occur on those OS, fortunately my windows2000 run unnormally but now it's fine.

What anti-virus were you running?
bitdefender, i have consulted and they asked me to uninstall use their tool and reinstall the antivirus, after all run nicely with eboostr
