   (1) The wizard recommended two hard drives for caching, despite saying that, by using those drives, I could get a speed increase of up to '0 times'.

   (2) The wizard advised me to use a RAM cache, and perhaps (I can't remember) recommended using unallocated memory (which is a wonderful feature), but used on *allocated* memory.

   (3) I received a 'cache cannot be allocated' error (or some such) when the wizard tried to do its work (= allocating one hard disc as a cache - I'd told it not to use another hard drive it had picked), two flash drives (already with a cache on them), and 1 gig system RAM.

   I can add that when having the extra cache on the hard disc was a fair bit slower, according to the speed text, than not having it (down from 3.something to 2.something). That is perhaps unsurprising. For the drive the wizard had recommended (albeit recommended with the 'x0' speed increase) is (1) a slightly slower drive than my main one and (2) has my swapfile on it - or rather is the same physical hard drive as my swapfile is on. For the situation is thus:

   HARD DRIVE 1, a SATA raptor. Has one partition which is the system partition.
   HARD DRIVE 2, a SATA Seagate. Has one small first partition with the swap file on, then a large data partition (on which Eboostr wanted to put a cache)

   (There's also another, and PATA, hard drive that I use for backups.)
