I dont know about anyone else, but I have notice eboostr will randomly "restart" by this I mean, it will rebuild the cache randomly. Dont know if thats just the timer resetting or if its something else? Usally the usb would be at like 90% and the ram would be 100% but when it does the random rebuild the ram goes down to like 7% and the usb up to 97%.

MemberYea but this is more random then every day... more like 4-5 times a day. Actully I think I found the problem, its in the other post about the services stop working.

MemberKK it happen again with build 535 too. It could be what David Gardiner was talking about but it happens more then a day. Also why would it cuase my ram cache to go down to <10%? Also I look into the component servcies to see if it was some sorta crash and nothing was in there... so not sure why it would do this random like.

Yes eBoostr can update the cache every few hours. The help screen says the following:
"After the initial cache build eBoostr will continue to update cache contents automatically once in an hour during the computer's idle time or night time, halting when you start using the computer again. If you usually turn off your computer when not used then we recommend you to update the cache contents by clicking the Build cache now button once in 2-3 days".

MemberOh I know that half. Its just i'm using my pc when it does it... so its not idle or actully my computer always busy (running a server) and i'm like right there watching it when it does it cause I have 2 different screens. Even so if thats the reason, why does it not resume from where it stop? It'll be at <10% all day if I left it (witch I did today, lol). But thank you. So far its only been with xp builds here, vista I didnt see it happen with and windows 7 didnt happen either, still doing more testing to see why. It could jsut be something little i'm missing thats causing this.. or bad ram.

I saw in some of your other posts that you are actively using Exclude lists and prioirities. That is why your cache fil may change so dramatically. Many files are removed from caching.
How do you think, can this be the reason?

MemberI dont think so. I set them, then do a rebuild right after. I'm not actively changing Exclude or Prioirties other then befor a rebuild that I do manually or when I do testing (uninstall reinstall) on the other oses. Its just been with my xp, I use both windows 7 beta and Vista with the same programs. Usally when I change the Exclude, i'm on another os that has the same Exclude list like my xp. Only real differents is xp is 32 bit and the others are 64 bit.
Even if so, I check the file cache and it isnt filled with music or image files that I excluded. Mainly the system, dll, TTF, exe, LNK, VDF, XML, and some other little files are in there only. After it does that werid rebuild randomly it goes back to <10% with only a few files (random files from the old list). The USB usally goes down a little too or stays the same.
