I'm finding that using both ReadyBoost and eBoostr together does speed things up (at least accorging to the speed test). When I put a simple ReadyBoost Cache monitor up along side the eBoostr control panel I get the impression that ReadyBoost is catching only small files, and the larger ones go to eBoostr. This is in line with what I read, that ReadyBoost only caches files 4K and smaller.
So my question is this: would there be any benefit to add an optional Minimum file size specification (in the settings.ini file)?
Would there be any (however small) speed increase in not having eBoostr dealing with the small files (4K and less) since ReadyBoost is already handling them. If eBoostr is looking at SuperFetch data, then it would still be loading the small files ReadyBoost is already caching.
Perhaps this is a small thing, but I thought I'd mention it for people to think about.
