X64 Windows, but "not really allocate max than 3072 meg of memory",

Hi, ...

My computer have [Windows 7 Ultimate x64], [8 Gig. Ram. DDR-2], [6 Gig Ram available]. [NTFS C: Partition].

eBoostr Version: 4.0.0.547.

Then, i try to made a eBoostr RamCache bigger than 3 Gig. Then i have enter 4096, in the eBoostr RamCache section.

The eBoostr software, display that it use it, but not Windows 7 x64. (If i go to Windows Task Manager, or an other program that display memory available, it display 6 Gig available.

Then it really work up to 3072 meg RamCache, on x64 Windows.

Please other users of x64 Windows, test at your side.

You only have this problem under win7 64 or you tried other OS? I wish to help you, but only i have 4GB, not enough to test.

Hi, ...

I only test, inside Windows 7 ultimate x64, 8 gig ram. Ntfs. eBoostr = v4.0.551 Beta.

I try a 3072, 4096, 5120 RamCaches.

Inside eBoostr it display that it have created it

But inside Windows and others display memory left software = it really have not allocate the memory cache.

It seem a bug inside, eBoostr beta.

I will test with the eBoostr normal release, not the beta version.
