My system:

AMD X4 9650, Gigabyte MA78GPM-DS2H, Kinston DDR2800 8GB ram, Western Digital 640GB hardisk, Windows Xp Sp3 and Gavotte Ramdisk.
Installed beta 3 build 482 smoothly, allocate 1024MB eboostr to ramdisk. Speed check: direct access speed approx.22MB/s, cached enable access speed approx. 219MB/s and ratio around 9.68.

But dont know why I need to build cache device everytime turn on the computer.

    I suppose it is because ramdisk content is not restored after reboot. Try to check ramdisk setting – if it able to restore files after reboot
