Xp SP3 4g Memory

By freddy67 | September 16th, 2009 |

Installed eboostr 4 beta, ticked “enable use of hidden system memory”, it detected 1280mb of unmanaged memory so I set the cache size to 2048mb leaving 2048mb as normal. When I clicked apply the system froze, I had to uninstall in Safe Mode as that was the only way the system would boot. I then […]

I have an older machine to a certain degree. It had been acting extremely slow lately. A friend recommended I try eBoostr so I joined this Beta test team. I do a lot of work with very large pdf files and what would normally have taken me days or weeks to do because I would […]

eBoostr conflict with system restore (xp)

By Louie | March 26th, 2009 |

I had to use windows restore for windows xp after a microsoft update. Restore was completely successful. But system would not boot up completely. I had to uninstall eBoostr in safe mode to boot the system. This is possibly caused by different file versions in eBoostr cache/files.

I’m running Build 471. What’s the relationship, if any, between Cacheman and eBoostr? I’m not using the RAM feature of […]

It works as good as Vista’s ReadyBoost

By Zero3K | October 22nd, 2007 |

I know you wrote that it should be only used on Windows XP. But, I decided to try it on Windows Vista (Home Premium edition) anyways because its easier to use than what Vista offers (Vista requires you to open two programs, Performance Monitor and Event Viewer, while eBoostr contains all info in one program) […]

works great, but locks up when I switch between users

By hip.inc | October 15th, 2007 |

I still have beta 2 installed, and have used it a couple of weeks now. load times for most apps I use on a regular basis (Photoshop, illustrator, firefox, guitar pro 5, guitar rig, cubase…) have decreased drastically; as much as half the time it normally takes in most cases. Working in photoshop and illustrator […]
