Build 487
By Andrey Zarudnev | January 19th, 2009 | 11:26 am
Hello Everyone!
Another update build 487 posted and I hope this one is the latest.
There was a small bug found in the cache free space detection (and it prevent the cache from further filling if you have exactly 8GB of free space available) that was fixed in this build. Also this build contains an improvement in handling non-latin filenames and locations (now works with Eastern Asian and Japanese languages.) Finally Windows 7 should be correctly detected during the installation procedure as a supported OS.
All of this changes are not critical, so this build will not be available in the auto update–please download it manually.
Thanks.
P.S. Previous build is available here, just in case.

Was this cache fill bug only limited to 8 GB free space? I encountered a similar problem on my 4 gig flash drive when I upgraded to build 486.

I also encountered this on my 4GB SD-card, I was using build 484 and jumped to 486. I noticed with 486, the cache would not fill up to 100%, the highest it reached was 92%.

No, cache sized less than 8GB were not affected.

Let’s try one more version of this spectacular software! My cache build (in v. 486) is 51%. I will let you know what will be the difference.

I had that an issue with 8 gb caches.
For me it successfully resolved with that build.

Great. Thank you, KW.

After updating to 487, my “cache fill” reaches 90% at 16GB USB memory. It works great!
Thank you for your immediate fix.
