Build 490 – no problem so far, except something related to the license

Hi all,
I recently installed the latest build 490. So far so good. My setup (which hasn’t changed) is the following :
- Compaq EVO N800 with 512kB RAM
- XP Pro
- A single USB flashkey readyboot compatible, 1GB, plugged into a USB port
I had the feeling that the previous one was making my PC experience slighly faster but that’s hard to be sure of that.
I keep however to have a warning message regarding the license that says :
(the license key has been deleted for privacy reasons!)
I am not sure this is related to V3.

The license reminder seems to work as expected. Did you update your key with the one published here?

I think the reminder is flawed… It says “has expired”… while there is obviously a few days left. Couldn’t the message header be replaced to say 12 days left in current license?

We have increased a Beta Test Program period once. The first license embedded in the product was valid until January 15th (license data starts with “1DB9A94A”), starting from the build 479 the new license was embedded but it is not overwritten during the installation (this one starts with “22DB16FC”.)

Actually I didn’t upgrade anything related to the license but I will ! Thanks

@Andrey : does this mean it’s safe to install the Beta version on my father’s pc and have it go past 1 feb ? Currently I’ve installed v2 on it, and it works fine, but since I only occasionally stop by his house every once in a while, I didn’t want to risk him being stuck beginning next month.
Additionally, having it on his pc is “another great test”, it’s rather oldish hardware =)

@deroby: Yes, it is safe.
