Windows Xp SP2 crashed three times last night.

I have updated to Beta 3.1, and was running firefox (latest version), thunderbird (again lastest version), as well as Google talk. I also have Zonealarm and Avast anti virus running in the background along with Windows defender.

I attempted to run Utorrent 1.7.5 and everything was running ok, until I started to download from this app. Then I go the blue screen of death twice. Unfortunately things got worse when the whole system shut down, almost like someone removed my battery.

Since restarting, this morning, the problem seems to have gone away, but I will try to reproduce the same situation with programs running to see if it happens again.

Do you have a memory dump enabled on the system failure?
( Right click “My computer”, Properties, Advanced, Startup and recovery “Settings” )

Please enable the “kernel dump” option. In case of a failure, please find the file “memory.dmp” in the windows system32 folder, zip it and mail to beta@eboostr.com

Since restarting this morning, no more occurrences of this problem have appeared. Unfortunately there was no memory.dmp in system32 folder, I have changed the settings to enable this from now. The computer has been running for 13 hours now, and no problems. Guess it’s just windows playing up as usual.
