Xp SP3 4g Memory

Installed eboostr 4 beta, ticked “enable use of hidden system memory”, it detected 1280mb of unmanaged memory so I set the cache size to 2048mb leaving 2048mb as normal. When I clicked apply the system froze, I had to uninstall in Safe Mode as that was the only way the system would boot. I then reinstalled & tried to uncheck the detect hidden memory option but the program had stored previous setting somewhere causing the system to freeze again.

When you uninstalled eBoostr did you select an option to remove all data?
Seems that your old cache left and it was marked as unmanaged RAM cache. You can simply delete it by removing the hidden folder “eBoostr” on your system drive.

Thanks Andrey
Reinstalled after deleting hidden folder as per your instructions, my system freezes no matter what amount of hidden memory i use, so I am using 700mb of normal system memory & a 4gb of flash. All working fine at present, so i’ll feedback my experiences after a couple of weeks.
Thanks
Freddy

Freddy, seems to be an issue with some of your hardware. Can you please run the “msinfo32.exe” (Start -> Run… and type “msinfo32”), export your system information into some text file and send it by email to beta AT eboostr.com ?
Thanks.

am using vista64 so cannot comment on crashes with the unmanaged mem feature but the idea is very good and i thought this would of been useful in ver 3 when testing that, when i could of used on my old xp 32 system.
