NTFS Last Access Update enabled/disabled?

Is it necessary to have NTFS Last Access Update option enabled in order for EBoostr to “know” which files to cache or not? This option is normally disabled on my computer but I think it is necessary to have it enabled so that EBoostr “knows” which are recent accessed files and which not.It would be great to hear from you guys how EBoostr “decide” which files to cache and which not thus clearing the situation out (this option enabled or disabled or it does no difference)

No. It is not necessary.
eBoostr tracks accessed files by filtering (using driver) all read requests to files.
It collects statistics about number or read requests (and number of bytes read from files) in internal database.
The most accesses for read files become candidates for caching.
The final decision based on read activity and file size. Small files has higher priority with same activity index.
