mine is about 13k for both the gui and the service. how much actual ram do you have & what OS? i use xp sp3 and have 3gb ram and use only a token 576mB page file.

i do not worry about memory useage as long as it doesn’t either run out or not release back to the pool when the app exits or another app needs it. free memory is memory that is not, cannot be used, allocated memory is memory that is being used. win2k,xp and vista have better memory optimization built in and do not need to free memory like winme and earlier. it stays allocated in case it’s needed, but will be given to other apps if they need it. saves having to release, then check and reallocate every time it needs some more memory. firefox is using more memory than ebooster in total.

worry more about cpu %. – mine averages about 0.06%

    I’m curious as well.

I have an Acer Aspire One with 1gb ram on WinXP xp3.

I have an 8Gb data card and a 4Gb cache setup. Currently the EBstrScv is using 10,624K Memory and 1,486,840K of Virtual Memory.

With only 1Gb of ram installed it’s reporting that I have 2.1gb of ram in use. Granted, the little bugger seems to be sailing right along when using Firefox or my email but just curious if this is normal?
