Boot time is same apps faster

By disaac | November 7th, 2007 | 3:32 pm

I have an unusual benchmark issue. When I boot my system with or without the eBoostr the time is the same. When I measure the speed non cached is around 4 kbs and cached is around 10 kbs.

Why does my system not boot faster?

I will load the RC and see if there is a differance

Some flash devices can be mounted by windows at the end of boot process. Also that can happen if some service or driver initialization requires a lot of time but no disk activity (something like login to the network, etc).
