Hibernate issue?
By RoadKillDave | January 1st, 2009 | 11:07 pm
I just noticed that when I turned my Acer Aspire One back on after XP was hibernated that drive D: (ebootered sdhc card) had to run a disk error scan when XP booted. Is anyone else having this problem? I am running version 483?
Thanks!

If it is not formatted as NTFS and is plugged in at boot, Windows will run a CHKDSK on it. If it has been CHKDSK’ed in the past time (probably a week), Windows will run CHKDSK’s on it periodically.
If it has encountered an error, Windows probably would’ve thrown up some warning or other. High probability that your drive hit the scheduled defrag time. (Check for a BOOTEX.LOG file at the root of the drive.)

ok I didn’t know that. Thanks! Other than this things are running good with this version.
