Newest Build 485 Doesn’t Work!

By Ed | January 16th, 2009 | 6:53 am

Regrettably, I didn’t save Build 484 and now 485 won’t load.  I usually back everything up, but I had great faith that this update would not contain the flaw of not even loading.  I get an error message that the Control Panel will not open.  Does anyone know how to obtain the previous version?

    Built 485 stops service, as I tried to rebuild the cash.

    I had to reinstall built 484 to get running again.

    After installing Build 485, the Start Menu in one of my Vista Ultimate 32-Bit machine will not work. Clicking the Vista Orb (Start menu) will not open the Start Menu.

    After I uninstalled Build 485, everything goes back to normal.

    Can you specify, please, the error message text while opening control panel? In this case we can identify problem.

    @chris:
    Can you please post your “exclude.ini” file contents here?

    @Ed:
    We’ve reverted back the installation file–you can redownload it from the site (build 484.)

    High Andrey Zarudnev,

    I can not find a file “exclude.ini”

    The Content of my Excludelist, I entered in the exclude Options is: D:\, E:\, K:\, L:\, M:\, N:\

    the ebooster Cachdrives are on “hidden drives” T:\ and U:\ (each 4094 MB).

    By now I upgraded to Built 486 and all seems be running fine

    Your´s Chris

    OK then. If build 486 was working fine then we do not need the “exclude.ini” now.

    BTW it should be located in:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\eBoostr
