No cache content visible

After a successful Build cache on 1 x 2GB and 1 x 4GB usb flash disks, examined the cache content only to be presented with a blank screen. Tried again some time later and still blank. Restarted system and then could see the content. Build 482 on WinXP SP3. Added 2 more 2GB flash disks and had the same problem. But on this occasion added system memory in the middle of the build. I suspect that the add operation and build operations should be exclusive, and that this may be the cause of the odd behavior. Also noted that the addition of a 5th storage device resulted in one of the UFD’s being disabled so that 4 devices were active. Unfortunately the device disabled was the most capable of the UFD’s.

I had the same problem that you had. I had no problem on installation and the System Memory Cache Build OK but, the Thumb Drive Cache did not start to fill until I removed the first one then created a new one rebooted and then told it to build cache now. It then built it and filled part of it.

Cache viewer shows the content of the currently selected device. What was the “cache fill” value? Probably it was 0%.
