Odd behavior with 2.0

By Schamess | February 24th, 2008 | 4:19 pm

I updated, and now it can’t seem to read my flash drive.  It says the drive is inactive.  Pulling the drive out and putting it back in doesn’t make any difference.  When I tried asking it to add new cache device, the only option it gave me was to use system memory.  Also, it locked my mouse and I had to reboot to get it back.  After reboot, eBoostr still not reading drive.

Please try to use the remove/add cache device.
In addition please make sure that you’ve downloaded the build 409 published several minutes ago. Thanks

Thank you… I did make a little progress – I had it remove the device and then add the device again. It now reads the flash drive as active, but it won’t build the cache. I suspect the problem is that the flash drive is already full, with the former cache – but it’s not recognizing it. I tried closing down eBoostr and then deleting the old cache – but Windows won’t allow it, says it is still in use by another device.

    Sigh. Any suggestions?

OK the 409 build seems to work, once I installed and rebooted, it found the device, rebuilt the cache… so I guess I’m good.
