I don’t really understand what theĀ ” Build Cache ” does, i know this is only Beta, but adding a good help bit wouldn’t hurt =]

Basically, build cache builds a cache file called eboostr.dat on the drive chosen that contains the frequently used files (such as dlls, exes, etc). You can see what’s in it by opening eBoostr’s Control Panel and clicking Show cache content in the Edit menu of it.

Unlike ReadyBoost which updates the contents of the cache file frequently, we do updates only if there are significant changes in the contents. And surely this should be performed on initial cache file creation.
