Update license dialogue box

By leblancj | December 1st, 2008 | 6:35 pm

It took me a few logons and appearances of this box to figure out that it came from eBoostr. There is no indication in the dialogue box that it belongs to eBooster. Since one can have many apps starting automatically, there needs to be something that indicates the source.

I just went through the same confusion (and irritation over the lack of identification). On the subject of licences, though, I was informed that I only have 30 days left – I assume that this refers to the duration of the beta?

I also found this irritating, that the pop-up did not identify itself as from eBoostr.

Same here, I did find that it *resembled* eboostr. But there’s absolutely no mention of it.

yes it scared me first, then what i did was to click on go to the process and that was what showed me that it was from ebooster, but first i thought it was spyware.

I was freaked out thinking that I was infected by virus or malware.

Thanks for the feedback. We will surely update this dialog by adding an icon and eBoostr prefix in the title.

Happened again today – now I have 29 days left and I am urged to buy… I have a two year licence so am puzzled by this.

It Shows up 24 days left?Shouldn’t it be a Free unlimited copy, because it’s a beta?
    Thanks, answer ASAP.
