After installing Build 485, the Start Menu in one of my Vista Ultimate 32-Bit machine will not work. Clicking the Vista Orb (Start menu) will not open the Start Menu.
After I uninstalled Build 485, everything goes back to normal.
Regrettably, I didn’t save Build 484 and now 485 won’t load. I usually back everything up, but I had great faith that this update would not contain the flaw of not even loading. I get an error message that the Control Panel will not open. Does anyone know how to obtain the previous version?
I am running a multiboot-platform.
in caching all partitions – and thus twice or threetimes the vista/XP Systemfiles and Programs ebooster is vasting quite some Potential for boosting Performance.
In addition to beeing able to select Programs to boost I´d love to be able to unselect Partitions/Drives, which I definitely wish to exclude from Cashing.
Hello
I just downloaded latest beta build but what’s has been changed or new??
Can’t find any details about it.
Thnx
PS Installs perfectly under XP SP2
For me it’s the first time eBoostr gives an error. Couldn’t install build 485, so I reverted to 484 that is working fine.
Windows NT6.0 (Build 6001) Service Pack 1 – 3071 MB – Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9300 @ 2.50GHz
Beta 485, Windows XP SP 2:
It’s a minor issue, but could be improved:
Right now, the setup fails during installation of the service/driver if run under a limited user account. The setup should check up front for admin privileges and abort, if the user is not an admin.
i believe that a change log vould be a nice thing to have. the app as it is now has no change log ore none that i know of. it would be nice to have a page on the site to see what has been fixed/improved/added etc. i get notices that a new version is available for download, but i don’t have a clue about what the changes were made. a change log would maybe generate more usefull feedback from the users. a change log would also give a sense of progress of eboostr. you may work hard on it but the users cannot know if you don’t tell them. please share with us your progress.
Is there, or will there be, a 64-bit version of eBoostr for XP? Vista?
