Service Stops for no reason
After adding a new device for cache the eboostr service (or at least that message is showned in the eboostr interface) stops for no reason… Have to start the service manually, after that all works great.

I switched my cache device from a 4gb flash memory card to RAM (4gb pc 1066 ddr2 utilizing 1gb). This makes my applications load like lightning on Vista Home Premium SP1. This morning when I booted my machine eBoostr failed to load with a C++ Runtime error. Windows shut it down and I was able to load the program manually. I don’t really know if this is a program bug or just a one time thing. I will report and update as appropriate.
upgraded to 473, rebooted and the icon does not show in the system tray.
Upgraded to build 473. Now when the eboostr control panel starts upon bootup I receive Register your copy. runs 4 hour demo mode .
This program is awesome. I am running 3 extra gigs through a SanDisk flash drive. I immediatley can tell the difference. I have iTunes, Mozilla, and Adobe Audition set to priority and they boot up much quicker. I haven’t used this for too long, but I will update with any future errors, flaws, or just to tell you if it is still awesome or something I have found that is even better.
Hi,
I’ve just noticed a bug when I turned off my eSATA external enclosure and then turned it back on a minute or two later. I now have an icon for the drive showing it as inactive and another icon for the same drive showing it as active with the same drive letter and details. I am using build 473.
I imagine that the inactive drive icon should have disappeared once the drive became active again. I did turn off the drive without using the XP ‘disconnect hardware safely’ tool. Not sure if this makes a difference.
Regards,
Michael
Is there a free format utility that we can use to format USB mobile in NTFS? Perhaps its a convenient feature that in next version we could format (NTFS) a USB device automatic in NTFS… as we can see that prices for USB mobile [especially the 8GB] is going down drastically even to the point that its cheaper that most RAM.
I have eboostr Service going up to 22MB Ram which I find on the high side.
Anybody else with similar experience??
Regards,
Tom
Does eBoostr design to optimize the gaming experience ( game load, game play, DirectX support, etc )
my eBoostr 3 beta is going to expire in 26 days and need to update the license, why?
Isn’t it a beta version?
