Great performance boost in RC
From 2.335 to 3.218 ratio.
– I would like to have a folder and file exclusion tool in the toolbar to manualy prevent cacheing of files that change a lot and an extension cache filter to prevent some types of files to be cached. For example if I don’t want my opera cache folder to be cached, or some smaller zip-ed files in download folder ..
Installation of the Beta version showed an error, but the installation continued and the product worked as expected. When installing the RC there were no problems.
Overall, this is a really great product and I have noticed a considerable difference in the startup of programs, overall performance, and multi-tasking capabilities. Much better than ReadyBoost within Windows Vista.

Installation went ok, no problems… Restarted comp. and then it took 8 min to load windows. Windows reported no virtual memory on disks, in the settings virtual memory was set ok. Set the virtual mem. to manage by windows and restarted again, same thing…Uninstalled RC, all was working again… For me the best version was 3, with 4 I have seen problems with Outlook express and msn and a couple of BSODs (memory dump is around 500MB)….
This morning i installed another external device on my PC: Maxtor One Touch II external drive, 250 Gb, 16 Mb buffer, 7200 RPM, average seek time < 9 Mb/sec., USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394 (firewire). I connected it to my PC by the IEEE 1394. My cahce is now:
3048 Gb on Transcend JetFlash V30/4Gb, on USB 2.0 (J:);
3048 Gb on Maxtor One Touch II 250 Gb, on IEEE 1394 (I:).
Eboostr manages both peripherals without any problem, everything works well, the system is faster like never has been. I submit here some speed tests hoping to be useful.

I would use the form, but there is no option for RC.

had RC1 installed since release and just had it crash with this error.
“EBstrSvc.exe – Application Error
The exception Integer division by zero.
(0xc0000094) occurred in the application at location 0x0048808b”
hope this helps.
will there be an option to manually add/remove programs to/from the cache? I think it would be a useful feature.
Hi tere, this version really rocks! I had a little concern after updating from beta3 to beta4 (it became slower) and thought I would use beta3 for ever.
