I’ve been running eBoostr for about a week now. I’ve gotten speed readings anywhere from 1.7 to 3.7. The 3.7 was pretty surprising so I measured it again: 3.7. I’d like to know why the range varies so much. I’m pretty consistent in the programs and files that I use daily. But it seems to work as advertised. I perceive things as being faster and perception is everything. Hopefully, we’re not participating in someone’s psychology project.

Hello,
I just downloaded and installed eBoostr on both my PC and Laptop, and must say that I see a big performance boost.
I was wondering what would be better, SD or USB? I am currently using a USB memory stick, but are there people who have already tried this application with a SD card? If so, is there any difference?

obvious significant increase with eBoostr beta2 cache installed

I used CCleaner to uninstal Version One both the actual program and then cleaned the registry (after backing up) prior to installing Version 2 and I had no problems with Version Two. I always restart after installing new software and this seems to work with Version Two very well.

Uninstaller asks you to leave feedback about “Panorama Composer.” Bug?

Hello,
I have found the problem in the cache problem.
I was tampering with a vital Windows System File, ntdll.dll, because I needed to get my program to work that I’m making. I realized later that I forgot a . in a line in the code, after numerous BSODs. Then after correcting the file, later on that day I randomly got a BSOD and then 3 hours later I got another BSOD. After analyzing the ntdll.dll file and finding no error, I remembered, “I have eBoostr running…” and then I removed the device and rebuilt cache. So far no problems!
I guess the problem was that it cached the bad ntdll.dll and never updated with the new one.
As a windows programmer, I can’t think of a way around this except I remember reading somewhere that windows has a value for the rarity of a file being changed. However, there should be a way in settings to automatically or manually check for updated cache files. Not to rebuild cache just check for updated versions of files.

I have Windows XP x64 Edition, program (Beta2 setup) installed flawlessly, i restarted.
Choosed the onboard “ASAP” Flash device on my ASUS M2N32-SLI Premium Vista Edition mainboard. Absoulutely no speed increase here, something ain’t workin’ right.
It says it allocated the 491MB disk for cache.
If i choose build cache, it says
“Building cache (0%)…”
then it suddenly disappears.
Also the speed test function Help menu/Check speed gives erroneus results.
Direct Acess Speed: -1.#IND00 MB/sec
Cache enabled Acess Speed: -1.#IND00 MB/sec
Ratio: -1.#IND00
Last windows startup time (boot and loading): 34.78 sec
Any ideas what to check?

If the program, eboostrCP.exe, does not start, I stopped it run auto starting, will caching still be enabled and working?? As far as I know it does but I’m just making sure.
