Is 484 better then 486?

I’ve installed eBoostr 3.0 Build 486 in my girlfriend’s Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M1451G with Windows XP5.1 (Build 2600) Service Pack 3, RAM: 1024 MB, Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.73GHz. Everything was freezing (Google Earth, Spybot, Rocket Dock applications, …). Also ATI MOBILITY RADEON X300 configuration panel refused to open. After uninstalling 486 and installing Build 484, everything went back to normal. I’m using a 1 GB SanDisk Extreme III.
First measures with only 28% cache fill:
Direct access speed: 9.485269 MB/s
Cache enabled access speed: 18.463310 MB/s
Ratio: 1.946525

I forgot to say that the Amilo has a CrystalClear pack.

Hm… Interesting…
Can you please try to install the new version (actually its 487 already) without uninstalling 484 or removing the cache and see if the problem will appear again?

I’ll try it right now.

Hello, Andrey! It seems that is working well. But, when installing over 484 as you said, I received an error with 3 options: Abort, Repeat, Ignore. I choosed “repeat” and the rest went nice. Let’s see if we can see the snapshot here.
Bricopacks are very nice for XP. In my late laptop I had Vista Inspirat 2 installed. These packs change some dll files.

Another thing: in my laptop (Vista SP1) OpenOffice appears in applications priority but not in my gislfriend’s Amilo (XP SP3 CrystalClear). We do not use applications priority as I decided to leave eBoostr care about its cache and all priorities and exclusions.
By the way: how can we translate eBoostr? “Applications priority” section is still in english.
