Boot up problem after driver upgrade

I’ve been running the latest beta (3.0 build 479) on my Acer Aspire 4520G laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit for the past few days without any hitches.

Earlier, I upgraded the nVidia video driver to the latest WHQL from the nVidia site which of course prompted me to reboot, so I did. After rebooting, a number of startup programs would error out and not load saying “bad image”, so I rebuilt the cache from the eBoostr control panel and rebooted again. The same problem happened, startup programs would not load giving the same error message.

What I did was disable the cache device, removed the cache device from the eBoostr control panel and rebooted again, after this all programs loaded properly. I have now just added the cache device again and rebuilt the cache on it, and its working fine again.

I just thought I should point this out.

Thank you.
