Build cache file on ramdisk

In the purpose of using the unused 1GB memory on Vista 32bit from the installed 4G, I created a ramdisk and tried to build the eBoostr on it. Unfortunately, the bulid 471 didn’t allow and showed -4096MB free space available of -4096MB total. What a pity!

I think that creating cache on RAM disk is the same as using RAM cache.

Yes, it’s the same. But I wonder why the function of building cache on ramdisk was removed in the build 471.

What product are using to create a RAM disk? Actually we did not have any limitations, cache should be created on any disk.
