cache content trouble

By KillerBoy | October 3rd, 2007 | 11:29 am

I’ve get a watch to cache content

I’ve seen some files surely accessed (like exe, dll, sys, etc)

I’ve seen some files probably accessed by launched application (like dll, ttf, fon, config, etc)

But I’ve seen some files surely NOT accessed during from eboostr’s installation (some lnk, exe, archived text files)

So… why this lasts files are inserted in cache???

The system read all files from start menu each time you click the “Start” button. (These files are shortcuts and they have the “lnk” extension) “EXE” files may probably be accessed by an antivirus software.
It’s not possible to say for sure why any particular file is added to a cache. But all files are chosen based on the gathered reads statistics.
