Delayed Windows Write Errors

By BEParkerVA | March 21st, 2008 | 3:01 pm

I get a lot of delayed Windows Write Errors for the file eboostr.dat with the beta version.  It seems to be happening more often than it was with v1.1.  Where is this file written and what info can I give you to help me solve it?

i’ve noticed the same problem with my sandisk micro 2gb. i usually quick format the pendrive and then i recreate the cache. i find this problem only after update the eboostr software.

In order to solve this problem you should disable write caching on your flash drive in Windows.

Here is the screenshot of the drive properties–select the “optimize for quick removal” option:
Disable write caching on the disk

Use the Device Manager / Disk drives / <Your flash drive> to access this property.

updated and cached without problems, even with the flash driver option already set. great work
