Not all appliations appear in list

By Tom | January 15th, 2009 | 11:41 am

I use Visual Studio 2005 a lot and it does not appear in the list of applications under “Application priority”. However, all the utilities that come with Visual Studio 2005 do appear.

    VS2005 appears in my list.
May be your list contains it too but under different name.
eBoostr for application title use a name of first found shortcut.

I’ve read each entry in the list individually and very carefully and it still does not appear. I’ll submit a bug report.

Can you please try to drop vs2005 executable to the left list box? What is the name of added program?

I dropped my VS2005 shortcut into the list and it appears in the list as “SQL Server Business Intelligence Developement Studio”. I’m sure it’s really my VS2005 IDE as it is openeing much faster. I’m also now running V3, build 485. All-in-all I think its a very good and valuable piece of software.

This is a our problem which I do not know how to resolve. If you find ‘SQL Server Business Intelligence Developement Studio’ shortcut in startmenu or quicklaunch it will point to 2005’s devenv.exe.
