Unable to test speed

By sv83 | October 13th, 2007 | 7:11 am

I don’t know maybe it’s not working properly on my system but i got these speed results:

Direct access speed: -1.#IND00 MB/s
Cache enabled access speed: -1.#IND00 MB/s
Ratio: -1.#IND00

Plus when i go to menu Edit-Show cache content, the list appears empty, like nothing is cached!

Did you click the “Build cache now” button?
What is the “Total files size in cache” indicator showing?

Yes i did click on ‘Build cache now’. It was building (seems so) but nothing changed. Where is the other indicator?

When the build process will finish you should see the small black icon on the device, if everything is working fine. Please check this screenshot:

OK then. You’ve create the cache on HD, how many do you have them? Does this cache located on another _physical_ hard disk?

I have 2HD. SATA2 Hitachi 82GB with XP Pro SP2 on it and SATA Maxtor 160GB as a storage. The cache was located on the main HD used by Windows

If you place the cache on the Windows system disk, then no system files, dll’s etc will be cached. Please place the cache file to your second hard disk–and check the difference :)
