USB device cache storage capacity selection

Well, I managed  to get it working somehow, but now I canot select the maxim storage capacity offered by my usb memory stick using the selection screen. It’s got 1 GB , and I can only select 960  mb.Strange issue indeed.

    you never get 1 GB exactly on a 1 GB flash stick/card i think formatting it lowers the capacity same way my 250 GB hard disk shows as 233 GB under windows after formatting into NTFS

    The operating system uses some portion of the every disk drive. This means that there is a difference between stated capacity and effective or usable capacity

    In addition please note that manufacturers usually indicate 1GB as 1000*1000*1000 bytes, but actually 1KB is 1024 bytes, so finally you get a lower value.
