Version 485 has trouble

By carmenara | January 15th, 2009 | 10:47 pm

Have uninstalled the previous beta and after a reboot, installed build 485. Upon installation there was an ‘unable to update system tray’ error.

The ‘cache meter’ in the system tray still doesnt work – I’d expect it to open the eboostr control panel upon clicking it.

Restarted after install and selected applications for caching and ran into an immediate problem: the cache cannot be built. Once the cache building starts the eboostr service is terminated. Automatic caching does not work, as well.

I’m unable to test the software on other machines at this time – I’d like to know if it’s an SP3 specific issue or is manual configuration necessary.

    Similar thing here too…
Upgraded from previous version, removed device, add new device, build cache, status active but cache fill 0% and message service not running. Tried to manually start Service (its on automatic in service settings but not started nevertheless), service started, tried again to build cache, again service stopped itself…
    we need new fixes…
