Noticed a slowdown of ebooster, traced it to Diskeeper automatically running defragmentation on my usb drives. Make sure you disable auto-defrag for your eboostr usb sticks.

well i’ve tested this release for many days and as the other releases i haven’t encountered any problems: it’s stable, it do exactly what it must suppose to do, no conflicts with other software and works very well with my laptop.
i’ve noticed a little performance decrease compared to past versions but i think it’s just a feeling, because the tests results are similar.
i think this is a great piece of software: it REALLY helps improving performance. i’ve put in my “must have” software. great job!

I have an unusual benchmark issue. When I boot my system with or without the eBoostr the time is the same. When I measure the speed non cached is around 4 kbs and cached is around 10 kbs.
Why does my system not boot faster?
I will load the RC and see if there is a differance

Uh… I’m sorry, for not responding for a few weeks…
Well, i wanted to ask something: When i restarted my comp. after i choose a device for cache-ing thing, the speed test result were heaviliy dropped; the direct access of my 2gb kingston FD dropped by 7 mb/s…
Why is this happening? (I am still using Beta4, ‘coz i don’t have time to download the RC a few days ago…)

I have installed the RC1.
And I probably misused the program by
1. Hibernate the laptop with the cache on
2. remove the usb stick
3. Restart the laptop
4. reinsert the usb stick
5. Hibernate the laptop

all the betas have been smooth sailing for me … with RC being the fastest … how
ever i did get 1 error with the RC and it started popping up a error saying no drive .
listening to mp3’s usually triggered it .
I uninstalled and complete reinstalled then rebuild new cache and all seems fine 4th day with no problems .
