High eBoostr activity using System RAM

By jschling | November 23rd, 2008 | 5:24 am

A problem that starts suddenly (for sure not in the former beta-version) with the current build 469 is the activity of eBoostr. Having System RAM enabled for eBoostr the eBoostr Control Panel and also the systray icon shows activity all the time between about 1/3rd and 2/3rd and is pulsing. Going up and down in about a second and goes on and on.

I am using a AthlonXP with 1,5GB DDR1-Ram on a PC-Chips M848ALU motherboard with Windows XP-Professional SP3

I have the same behavior and it is normal if you have some background task reading constantly cached file from disk. You did not see it before if this file is added to cache recently

no, my disk is not axtive (disk access LED) and even if if do not anything its still going up and down (between 30 and 70 percent or so).
I had that expirience already with trial-version 2.01 or 2.02 (that version the feature “system memory add this feature and one later) and the problem was not occuring with the first beta version 3.0 and also not with the last beta (before the current one) as it should not show any RAM load except the RAM load from eBoostr itself
